Kas Krochets is a one-woman studio where yarn turns into character. Kas crochets every figure herself, one loop at a time, which is why each one ends up with a personality all its own.

Can I buy the pieces shown here?
Many of the friends in the collection are one-of-a-kind pieces that have already found homes. Kas can make one in the same spirit, and because every piece is handmade, yours will have its own little quirks and personality.
How much does a custom piece cost?
Price depends on size, detail and materials. A small critter is a very different project from a fully dressed doll. Tell Kas what you have in mind and she'll send a quote, with no obligation to order.
How long does a custom order take?
Every piece is made by hand, so timing depends on the design and on how many orders are already on the hook. Kas will give you a ready-by date with your quote. If you're shopping for a birthday or the holidays, it's best to get in touch early.
Are they suitable for babies and young children?
Kas's figures are made to be hugged, but many include safety eyes and small details (like Santa's real spectacles), so they're best as keepsakes for older kids and grown-ups. If you're ordering for a baby or toddler, mention it and Kas can talk through options.
How do I care for my crocheted friend?
Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it air dry. Please skip the washing machine and dryer. They can fuzz the yarn and shift the stuffing. Keep away from pets who like to chew!
Do you offer pickup or shipping?
Kas is a local artisan, so local pickup is often the easiest option. Shipping may be available too. Just ask when you place your order.
